Cool!

Hello everyone!
I just discovered that our baby Eric is a model!! We had pictures done by Abigail Smith a few months ago at mom's house. She is great, and comes out to your location. She is young, but very creative and good at taking pictures.

If you go to her website, the front page is a picture of Eric in mom's red chair out in the sideyard of the house!! The picture was my brilliant idea....and it actually worked!! :0)

Here is her website: www.abigailsmithphotography.com Go check it out!! She has some pretty pictures of other people on her website too! :0)

Talk to ya soon!!

Santa Picture!!!

While mom came to visit last week, we took Eric to see Santa for the first time!

He didn't cry! He talked to Santa and smiled at him. When we sat him on Santa's lap, Eric was "smug baby". He was just hangin' out with Santa and was way too cool to smile for a picture! So, here it is....Eric's first ever picture with Santa!!!

Gruene Christmas!

Mom came up to do some Christmas shopping and to visit her little baby grandson!! We had alot of fun , but boy are we tired!
One night we went to Gruene (greeen) to go out to eat at the Gristmill! It is really yummy and it really is an old flour gristmill.

We went inside the Gruene Dance Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas (yes, in Texas you can bring babies in bars, as long as they don't drink!! ;0)) There weren't alot of people there that night and it is really small. It has tons of history and some great country and blues artists have played here like George Straight (when he was still with his band called Ace in the Hole)! We were going to take advantage of Nana watching the baby and take a spin around the dance floor, but no music was on, so we took a picture by the tree instead.

Merry Christmas and I will get Eric's Santa picture on here this evening.
See some of you very soon!!!

Greeny Beanies!!

On Saturday, December 2, 2006.....Eric ate his first real baby food (other than Rice Cereal!!!)

Eric ate his Green Beans!! He seems to like them better than Rice Cereal, but still not too sure about them! He is finally closing his lips around the spoon (I had to rake off the cereal into his mouth). I know you aren't supposed to mix different foods together right now, but in order to "get things going again" I gave Eric some White Grape Juice! He loved it too!! I mixed one ounce of juice with 2 ounces of water.

Yesterday, he ate Applesauce. I am not sure if he likes it as much as the green beans, but he didn't gobble it down like the beans!

Here are the pictures!!

Isn't he cute?! The bib was a present from Cody and Kristin. It says.."Skip the green beans and on to dessert!" He tried to blow some green bean bubbles a few times and showered in them! And, oh by the way, those green beans taste nothing like the real deal! YUCK! Thank goodness for green bean casserole! :0)

The rest of the Alamo

Pepere made Eric smile when he stole a kiss!!

The historic "Long Barracks" that Eric broke all the rules in and stank up pretty good!

Whew! Pepere wore both Eric and me out with our outings, but we had so much fun!! Eric is awake in this picture, but he was so tired, he couldn't resist Pepere's head as a pillow!

Thank you for coming to visit us Pepere!! I am glad you enjoyed your cookies on the airplane!

Remember...The Alamo!!

This is our last outing with Pepere (Lou) while he was here. Eric and I took him to the Alamo. Eric talked to the nice man that was doing a presentation and spit up all over the "hallowed" floor of the long barracks of the original Alamo that is a "No Beverages, No food, No camera" zone! We definately left our mark there! He also filled his diaper in the middle of the film he talked through, so when I heard "the noise" and then the smell hit my nose, I knew this was bad news!! He was a good baby on all of our adventures though. Here are some pictures. Sorry I got behind a little!!

Here is Eric with his Pepere trying to touch the cannon he is sitting on...yes, he is sitting on an ORIGINAL cannon from the first Alamo battle.

Somehow, Eric made it on top of some important rock. I am not sure how he got up there, or how he held himself up! ;0) As I was getting ready to take this picture (I was unaware of this pose) I heard giggles from the ladies sitting behind me. I looked up and found Eric like this!

Of all the neat things to see at the Alamo, Eric zeroed in on the fish to look at. They were under a bridge/walkway. He was so interested in the giant goldfish!

Here they are at the front of the Alamo Mission!!

I have more pictures to post of this outing, but for some reason, blogger won't let me add them. I will make a new post of the rest of the pictures next.
